Teenager's Bedroom

A young adult’s bedroom transformed with cleverly integrated storage and a custom-made desk to study.

The brief for this residential project was to transform this small bedroom from a child’s room to a more grown-up space with better storage and room for a desk to study. The room is used for sleeping, studying, spending time with friends and relaxing and therefore needed both personality and practicality.

We designed new bespoke furniture to maximise every inch. A custom narrow desk was introduced to occupy the full width of the room and provide a dedicated surface to study. A fitted storage unit was built with a clever, lit display area with the dual purpose of breaking the imposing surface of the unit and showcasing special loved items. A striking colour scheme provides personality and sophistication.
